adams.

5 Things for today:

1. I cannot pretend to like Laura Linney as an actress anymore. I am watching John Adams right now and I find her completely unbelievable.
2. I found an indoor golf facility - I want to go once a week until I can go outside. I played pretty well, it felt fairly accurate. Putting is hard, but all in all its fun stuff.
3. I now know what it feels like to have a President. I am not going to get into Politics here, maybe I will start to do so eventually, but at the very least he is making decisions and doing things. Acting on thought. I feel like the last few Clinton years were too wrapped up in nonsense and then we went directly into GW...I'm tired of nonsense. I feel like we have sense now.
4. "1776" is a hard book to read, not in text, but in time...I feel like its going to take a full year. It's size also makes me wish I had a Kindle 2...I am enjoying it though.
5. 39 days, 14 pounds.

my advice for people out there:
Netflix is too awesome to pass up. Movies delivered right to your door, TV shows, the whole thing...its insanely awesome. I can't wait for AppleTV to trump it someday, but for now, if you don't have Netflix, you really need to get it.

5 Things for today:

1. Lily Allen's new album "It's Not Me, It's You" deserves some kind of well written review from me - unfortunately I don't know how to review things formally. What it will get in it's place, is airtime on my iPod. That should say enough.
2. My body is starting to tell me it's time to start golfing again. There is nothing within reason I can do to satisfy that urge.
3. Little People, Big World is in my top 5 favorite shows that are airing currently. One of the others is Mad Men, I am nto sure what the other 3 are.
4. Josh Shea gave us a great piece of artwork for our Dining area...thanks Josh, it fits perfectly.
5. 35 days, 11.5 pounds.

my advice for people out there:
Buy either a slow cooker or a food processor, or both...and use them.

snow.

5 Things for today:

1. Hanging pictures is harder than it should be. There are so many factors.
2. Exercise allows you to consume so many more calories than if you didn't exercise.
3. Speaking of calories - they really are the secret to losing weight. Not fat, not carbs....calories.
4. Alison and I did more housework today than we have ever done in a single day.
5. Next time you see Jake ask him his theory on why people 30-39 think about snow what they think about snow.

my advice for people out there:
if you have contacts, give your eyes a break every so often.

wallet.

5 Things for today:

1. My wallet is missing. That is an unfortunate thing. I do not think I am going to find it.
2. I have been out of work for 9 business days, and I am already extremely annoyed.
3. Alison just called, my wallet has been found.
4. I have a phone interview at 5:30 - exciting company...lets see what they have to say
5. I like the idea of a new President, mostly for the organizational aspect of things. I like how I can listen to every single weekly radio address and keep up with things.

my advice for people out there:
drink more water.
